What an outstanding movie with an outstanding cast. Darr which released in 1993 was an excellent provocative movie which was a huge blockbuster for that year nonetheless a huge cult to this day.
It was also a huge hit for Shah Ruhk Khan who had made a huge impact to his career who at the time was a newbie in the Bollywood industry. To this day, itโs hard imagining the romantic SRK portraying an obsessive lover since how far he had been in the Bollywood industry. Shows you how versatile SRK is in his acting craft proving why the Bollywood industry would entitle him the king. He even outshined all the characters in the movie even Sunny Deolโs who was a huge leading actor of the 90s - no disrespect to him of course.
Just the dialogues is one of the most chilling but memorable to this day.

Autumn in My Heart review

Like many love songs, Gaeul Donghwa is trite and over dramatic. But if you can allow yourself to be vulnerable and accept the story, you will be treated to many emotional evenings. The series unfolds like a modern fairy tale (donghwa stands for fairy tale).
In contrast to American soap operas, Gaeul Donghwa was planned as an 18-episode soap opera. Some of the plot twists are dramatic and unexpected, but all are essential to the plot and serve to enrich the characters.
That said, the series could've been trimmed by a couple of episodes or so, as it is filled with countless flashbacks and several moments of "Come on, not that again!"
Still, the rest of the series is so powerful that I suspect even the most jaded and macho viewers will surrender their egos and bring their eyes to tears.
What is the message? I like to paraphrase my review of my all-time favorite film, Breaking the Waves. It paints each facet of love (e.g., mother-to-daughter, friendship, romance) with a palette of honesty and beauty.
And what beauty... The series is very beautifully shot, like the "yellow umbrella" scene where one of the lead characters sees the other character for the first time in many years. And acting is superb throughout, including the children.

โI Yah! review

Considered the first K-pop idol group, H.O.T.โs 1999 hit โI Yah!โ was one of the boy bandโs most successful hits. A song fueled by rage, itโs dominated by smooth orchestral instrumentals that clash with a dramatic infusion of metal and hard rock elements, via its wailing guitar riffs and screaming vocals. Released along with a music video that drew on Japanโs visual kei scene for inspiration, the group took the opportunity to call out corruption in society and created an anthem describing the frustrations of the current generation of youth. It was inspired by a tragedy around the June of 1999 when unsafe conditions at a camp brought about by bribery resulted in over a dozen young children dying in a fire. โ TAMAR HERMAN
